Surgery and Anesthesia Registered Veterinary Technician

Job Summary
Manage appointments, obtain patient histories, maintain medical records, and invoice clients. Fill medications, enter charges, and schedule appointments while ensuring accurate documentation. Prepare patients for surgery by shaving, scrubbing, and positioning them, assisting with intubation and radiographs. Perform blood draws and submit bloodwork. Clean operating rooms, instruments, and wrap packs. Liaise between surgeons and clients to deliver post-operative care instructions and navigate treatment plan conversations. State Registered Veterinary Technician license and prior veterinary experience required. Schedule Tuesday through Friday, 8a-6:30p.
Required Qualifications
- State Registered Veterinary Technician license
- Prior veterinary experience
- Proficient in calculations (drugs, constant rate infusions, unit conversions, etc.)
- Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passing of a drug screen
- Background check
