Job Summary
Lead an independent clinician-scientist research program within the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery while maintaining clinical practice. Responsibilities include mentoring faculty and trainee researchers, developing collaborative programs within the department and institution, and growing the department's research and grant portfolio. The role involves education of residents and medical students, interaction with PhD researchers across departments, and contributing to a nationally recognized program. Appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level with tenure eligibility; MD, DO, or foreign equivalent required and licensure to practice in Pennsylvania.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
- Completion of accredited training program
- BC/BE in Otolaryngology
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
- Track record of robust research, publication and funding
- Tenure-eligible at Associate or Full Professor level
