Job Summary
Surgeon-Scientist, Vice Chair of Research leads an independent clinical and research program in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, mentors faculty and trainee researchers, and helps develop collaborative programs to grow the department’s research and grant portfolio. The role combines independent clinical practice with a robust research program, aiming to advance translational efforts, surgical innovation, and education of residents and medical students within a nationally renowned academic health system.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
- BC/BE in Otolaryngology
- Completion of accredited training program
- Track record of robust research, publication and funding
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
