Job Summary
Surgeon-Scientist, Vice Chair of Research leading an independent clinical and translational research program within the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. The role includes directing a research portfolio, maintaining a clinical practice, mentoring faculty and trainees, developing collaborative programs across the institution, and contributing to education of residents and medical students. Appointment at the Associate or Full Professor level with tenure eligibility; license to practice in Pennsylvania and Board certification/eligibility in Otolaryngology are required. A collaborative environment with access to shared research resources and opportunities to advance the department’s research, teaching, and patient care is offered.
Required Qualifications
- M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent
- Completion of accredited training program
- BC/BE in Otolaryngology
- Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
- Track record of robust research, publication and funding
