Job Summary
Prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and support the surgical team during cardiac procedures while ensuring patient safety. Maintain open heart and Level I trauma experience requirements alongside NBSTSA certification and Epic system proficiency. Work shifts from 06:45 to 15:15 with on-call rotation every third day, including weekend coverage up to two times monthly and potential float to general OR. Required Qualifications
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
- Open heart experience
- Level I trauma experience
- Epic experience
- On-call every third day with a 30-minute response time
- Weekend requirement: up to 2 weekends per month
- Holidays as needed
- Ability to float to general OR if needed
