Job Summary
Prepare the operating room, sterilize equipment, and support the surgical team during cardiac procedures as a member of the cardiac unit. Ensure patient safety and well-being throughout the surgical process. This role requires NBSTSA certification, BLS certification, two years of CVOR experience, and active Kansas licensure. Schedule includes on-call rotation of one weeknight per week and one weekend per month. Full medical benefits, 401k matching, and 100% paid housing are provided.
Required Qualifications
- Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- BLS Certification
- 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
- Minimum 1 year current acute care CVOR Tech hospital experience
- Current active KS licensure
- On-call required: 1 weeknight per week and 1 weekend per month
