Job Summary
Read and interpret blueprint specifications, SRM's, and shop orders to determine areas for sealing and painting. Stir mixtures, apply cleaning solvents, and clean or roughen surfaces before applying primers, clear coats, sealants, or adhesives. Complete seal and water testing, install foam pockets and detail parts, and dispose of hazardous materials while wearing required PPE. Work Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM – 3 PM, onsite at Foley, AL, with ability to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and overtime. Requires HS diploma or equivalent with at least one year of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Person (lawful permanent resident, U.S. citizen, U.S. national, refugee, or asylee status)
- HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Ability to work varying shifts, including but not limited to nights, weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and overtime as required
- Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, protective clothing, arm sleeves, dust mask, gloves (rubber or latex) and other PPE as needed for 8+ hours per day
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
