Job Summary
Lead the Surface Transportation group in Meridian/Boise, overseeing projects from inception through closeout and driving business development. Responsibilities include formulating capture strategies, establishing client relationships, guiding staff development and delivery, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule and budget, risk and change management, quality control reviews, and contributing to technical studies and proposals. Requires BA/BS in Civil/Transportation Engineering with 10+ years related experience (PE preferred; Idaho license or ability to obtain within 6 months); 15+ years of progressive project experience and 5 years in proposal/business development. Strong leadership, communication, and client-management skills are essential for success in this role across transportation market sectors including surface transportation, transit, rail, bridges and structures, and utilities.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Civil/Transportation Engineering
- 10 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
- Preferred: Professional Engineer in the State of Idaho or ability to obtain one within 6 months
- 15+ years of progressive experience designing and delivering projects
- 5 years’ experience with proposal and business development, client presentations and relationship development
- Project Management experience in transportation projects
