Job Summary
Coordinate System/Software Problem/Improvement Reports (SPIR) for Surface Ships undergoing maintenance availabilities by accurately inputting handwritten reports into the NSWC-PD SPIR Tracking Tool and continuously monitoring the database. Provide administrative support to NSWC-PD Department 20 Machinery Programs and Platforms, including generating weekly SPIR reports for the customer. Utilize tracking sheets and databases to meet SURFMEPP product value stream while working closely with the Regional Maintenance Center Modernization Coordination Office, TYCOMM, SURFMEPP Community, NAVSEA, AMS1, and other stakeholders. Support HM&E testing operations in Seattle/Everett, WA.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Navy Logisitics Information Systems experience
- Secret Clearance
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years of experience providing System/Software Problem/Improvement Report (SPIR) OR JIRA, R-Supply, One Touch, NALCOMMIS or OMMS-NG coordination for surface ships undergoing maintenance availabilities
- 2 years of experience in the utilization of tracking spreadsheets and databases
- Specialize in Quality Assurance
