Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, and repair surface mobile equipment (loaders, forklifts, trucks, service vehicles); perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hoists, winches, and mechanical/hydraulic/electrical systems; maintain and repair material handling systems (conveyors, belts, gearboxes, pumps, crushers, screens); diagnose faults and complete repairs, including component replacement and rebuilds; operate forklifts and mobile lifts; weld, cut, and fabricate on carbon steel and stainless steel; read manuals/schematics/work orders; coordinate with operations and maintenance teams to minimize downtime; follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures; ensure regulatory compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic use of a computer
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE
- Ability to perform physical job duties (up to 50lbs)
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends/holidays/different shifts
- Mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, mining, or heavy equipment environments
- Preferred: High school diploma/GED or minimum of two years of equivalent work experience
- Welding experience and strong troubleshooting skills
