Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, and repair surface mobile equipment (loaders, forklifts, trucks, service vehicles); perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hoists, winches, and mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems; repair material handling systems (conveyors, belts, gearboxes, pumps, crushers, screens); diagnose faults and complete repairs; operate forklifts and mobile lifts; weld and fabricate on carbon steel and stainless steel; test functionality and reposition machinery; read manuals and schematics; coordinate with operations to minimize downtime; follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Basic use of a computer
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, PPE
- Physical ability to perform duties (lift up to 50lbs, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, twist)
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends/holidays
- Mechanical maintenance experience in industrial/mining/heavy equipment environments
- High school diploma/GED or minimum two years of equivalent work experience
- Welding experience and strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with material handling systems and mobile equipment preferred
