Job Summary
Inspect, maintain, and repair surface mobile equipment (trainers: loaders, forklifts, trucks, service vehicles); perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hoists, winches, and mechanical/electrical systems; maintain material handling systems (conveyors, belts, gearboxes, pumps, crushers, screens); diagnose faults and complete repairs; operate forklifts/lifts from designated locations; weld and fabricate on carbon steel/stainless steel for guards and supports; test functionality, reposition machinery, and verify repairs; conduct routine inspections and report unsafe conditions; read manuals, schematics, and work orders; coordinate with operations/maintenance teams to minimize downtime; follow safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures; comply with regulatory requirements; must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
Required Qualifications
- Mechanical maintenance experience in industrial, mining, or heavy equipment environments
- Must be eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic use of a computer
- Ability to perform physical job duties (lifting up to 50lbs, etc.)
- Ability to work overtime
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent work experience (preferred)
- Welding experience and strong troubleshooting skills (preferred)
- Experience with material handling systems and mobile equipment (preferred)
