Job Summary
Facilitate abandonment and reclamation projects while maintaining data integrity for surface files. Assist with capital projects, procedure reviews, and third-party consent processes to support well and facility acquisition. Manage ad-hoc projects as required within the Surface Land Administration role at Canadian Natural's Calgary head office. This student position runs from May 2027 for 8 or 12 months, featuring a 5-on/2-off schedule with 8-hour days. Candidates must be enrolled in the Energy Asset Management Program or related field with experience in Accumap and provincial databases.
Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in the Energy Asset Management Program or a related post-secondary education program
- Experience with Accumap, Abadata, and provincial databases
- General knowledge of the surface lifecycle
- General knowledge of the Acts and Directives
- Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
