Job Summary
Surface Land Representative responsible for securing and maintaining land access for environmental, construction, remediation, excavation, and oil & gas projects. Serves as the primary liaison between Tasman, landowners, clients, and project stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution. Requires strong negotiation, relationship management, and the ability to coordinate across multiple teams in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment. Responsibilities include landowner relations and access coordination, site investigation and utility coordination, project support for environmental/remediation/construction activities, and thorough documentation and reporting. Proficiency in reading maps and property records, plus effective communication and organizational skills, are essential. Occasional overnight travel and a valid US driver’s license are required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in land services, right-of-way, surface land, environmental, oil & gas, or related field
- Experience working directly with private landowners and stakeholders
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Ability to read and interpret maps, plats, aerial imagery, and property records
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking abilities
- Working knowledge of oil & gas, environmental work, and land access requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Reliable transportation for field visits
- Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
