Job Summary
Manage, investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve surety bond claims across Mexico in accordance with contractual obligations, regulations, and WTW guidelines. Act as technical lead for the region, providing expert guidance to clients, brokers, principals, obligees, legal advisors, and carriers. Protect organizational interests by assessing liability, coverage, exposure, and recovery strategies for complex, high-value, or litigated claims. Support client retention and business growth through proactive claims advocacy and strengthened carrier partnerships. Contribute to RFPs and client presentations by demonstrating expertise and market insight. Maintain accurate documentation, share trends, and define departmental objectives to drive continuous improvement and measurable business contributions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience managing, investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving surety bond claims across Mexico
- Knowledge of contractual obligations, applicable regulations, and company guidelines in the context of surety claims
- Ability to protect organizational financial interests and maintain relationships with clients, brokers, principals, obligees, legal advisors, and internal stakeholders
- Capability to serve as a technical lead for Surety Claims in Mexico
- Expertise in providing guidance to clients, brokers, principals, obligees, legal advisors, carriers, and internal stakeholders
- Ability to assess liability, coverage, exposure, recovery potential, and resolution strategies for complex, high-value, or litigated claims
- Experience supporting client retention and business growth through proactive claims advocacy
- Capability to demonstrate claims expertise, market insight, and advocacy capabilities during RFPs, prospect meetings, and client presentations
- Experience partnering with preferred surety carriers on capacity discussions, service standards, portfolio performance, and market positioning
- Ability to maintain accurate claims documentation and share trends and lessons learned
- Experience supporting best practices across the Surety practice
- Capability to define departmental objectives collaboratively with a team
