Administer medications, start IVs, and discharge patients while coordinating, delegating, and supervising care for licensed nurses and patient care technicians. Evaluate nursing interventions, assess medical needs, and facilitate problem resolution through collaboration with unit leadership. Supervise departmental staff, promote evidence-based practice protocols, and manage conflict on assigned shifts. Ensure effective scheduling, staffing, and availability of clinical supplies to support daily operations. Collaborate with quality, safety, and experience leadership to promote patient safety processes. Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and ensure compliance with accreditation standards and regulatory requirements.
