Job Summary
Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and timely. Enforce compliance with company policies and safety regulations while hiring, training, and leading staff to maximize productivity and minimize downtime. Manage staff performance and disciplinary issues, liaise with forwarders and planners for smooth inbound and outbound shipments, and ensure accurate system updates and audit-ready records. Consistently seek process improvement opportunities and implement changes. Requires a diploma in logistics with five years of supervisory experience, MHE certification, and ability to work shifts including weekends. SAP experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in logistics or equivalent
- at least of 5 years of relevant experience in supervisory role within a warehouse environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands
- Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, picking, kitting and shipping procedures, as well as inventory control techniques
- Ability to operate MHE such as forklifts, reach trucks or pallet jacks, and obtain necessary certifications if required
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Analytical mindset with ability to approach problems and situations with a logical and systematic perspective
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and operational requirements
- Knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and experience in implementing safety protocols
- Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in shift, including weekends, as required by operational needs
