Job Summary
Oversee daily manufacturing operations for air conditioning coils, managing assembly, brazing, testing, and packaging while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Assign tasks and schedules to production workers, enforce standard operating procedures, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to minimize scrap and reduce downtime. Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and collaborate with planning, engineering, and logistics teams to optimize resource allocation and resolve operational issues. Requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to lead a team in a high-volume setting involving long periods of standing and lifting up to 40lbs.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs
- Ability to stand for long periods up to 8 to 10 hrs
- Hearing protection required
