Supports Manager

Lead & manage operations of the home for individuals with disabilities, supervise employees with hands-on approaches, ensure quality care and support, determine daily routines and staff scheduling, document consistently, and guide DSPs in community activities and in-home programs. Responsibilities include teaching meal prep and cooking, coordinating activities (events, outings, arts/crafts, celebrations), and empowering individuals to achieve personal goals within a small, nonprofit residential setting in the Mohawk Valley (Dolgeville to Frankfort). The role emphasizes leadership in care delivery, staff mentorship, and creating a warm, supportive environment with a strong emphasis on advocacy and person-centered approaches.
