Job Summary
Supportive Housing Associate at Rogue Ridge Apartments (Ashland, OR) responsible for motivating adults with serious mental illness to participate in skills training and treatment activities; facilitate access to community resources; assist tenants with health care arrangements, housing applications, move-in processes, medication administration, money management, symptom monitoring, and housekeeping; promote socialization, self-help, and daily problem solving; requires empathy and active listening; crisis de-escalation training included (may involve physical maneuvers) and opportunity for growth through QMHA/direct support roles.
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible for Qualified Mental Health Associate (QMHA) registration
- Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science OR minimum three (3) years of verifiable behavioral health experience in a supervised setting OR equivalent combination of behavioral science education and training
- Valid driver’s license from state of residence or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire
- Ability to pass DHS criminal background check
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting up to 40 pounds and crisis-de-escalation training
