Job Summary
Support individuals with developmental disabilities in community settings by providing personalized, compassionate care and assistance with Activities of Daily Living, medication administration, and progress tracking. Implement and document Plans of Care, transport participants to appointments and activities, promote independence and positive behaviors, collaborate with families and healthcare professionals, and ensure safety and well-being through person-centered, least-restrictive care within a team-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License with a good driving record
- Ability to pass a State of Alaska background check
- Reliable transportation
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends
- Ability to provide compassionate, person-centered care
- CPR for Adult, Child, and Infant
- First Aid
- Immunization: Annual PPD Test and Hepatitis B vaccination or waiver
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Prior experience in person-centered care
- EMR systems proficiency
- Valid Alaska Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Ability to pass State of Alaska background check

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
