Job Summary
Partner with the person being supported, their family, and informal networks to attain their life aspirations. Provide support in everyday living situations, including personal care, with an emphasis on choice and quality of life. Participate in developing, implementing, and reviewing individual plans focused on life hopes. Enable personal autonomy over services received while upholding rights to respect, privacy, and dignity. Work effectively in a team-oriented environment with flexibility to meet varied client needs. Requires an open drivers license, current CPR and First Aid certificate, and NDIS Worker Screening check. Casual employment in Fitzgibbon at $45.28 p/hr.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
- Provide excellent support to clients and co-workers
- Flexible (able to work varied hours and days)
- Reliable to meet the needs of the people we support
- Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English
- A positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- A current NDIS Worker Screening check and Blue Card
- Open Drivers License
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificate
