Job Summary
Partner with the person being supported, their family, and informal networks to attain their established life aspirations. Provide support in everyday living situations, including personal care, with an emphasis on choice and quality of life. Participate in the development, implementation, and review of individual plans focused on life hopes and autonomy. Recognize and uphold the right to respect, privacy, dignity, and confidentiality for the person and their family. This role requires flexibility to work varied hours and days, along with effective communication in spoken and written English. A current NDIS Worker Screening check and Blue Card are required, alongside an Australian driver's license, CPR, and First Aid. Casual employment at Ashgrove offers a salary of $45.28 p/hr plus super and NFP salary packaging.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment
- Provide excellent support to clients and co-workers
- Flexible (able to work varied hours and days)
- Reliable to meet the needs of the people we support
- Able to effectively communicate in spoken and written English
