Job Summary
Travel to client homes and sites to assist with identified goals, including light housekeeping, cooking, and hygiene support. Administer medications, monitor client health and safety, and maintain accurate documentation of daily activities and incidents. Conduct training to foster independence, encourage socialization, and help clients manage personal schedules and property. Submit written incident reports and adhere to mandatory reporting procedures for abuse or safety concerns. Maintain professional boundaries while modeling appropriate socialization skills and ensuring client homes remain orderly and sanitary.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver's license
- Working car
- Proof of insurance
- 18 years or older
- Ability to pass a criminal background check per State of Oregon standards
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen (for illegal drugs in the State of Oregon)
- Willingness to assist others
- Ability to understand and follow tasks as directed
- Time-management
- Excellent listening skills
- Strong professional boundaries
