Job Summary

Provide quality service to clients in a safe, clean living environment while supporting adults to gain independent living skills through daily activities like meal preparation, household chores, and community access. Communicate with immediate supervisors regarding serious concerns and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately. Maintain understanding of Emergency On-call System roles and responsibilities. Maintain a caring, person-centred approach with patience and empathy to foster client independence rather than performing tasks for them. Valid First Aid-CPR Level C and police information check are mandates. Requires previous experience in disability services and willingness to follow established policies and support plans.

Required Qualifications

  • A caring, reliable, and person-centred approach
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid First Aid-CPR Level C Certificate
  • Valid police information check with vulnerable sector
  • Previous experience in disability services
  • Willingness to follow established policies, procedures, and support plans
  • 6 hours per week (Flex) (12 hrs. biweekly)
  • Understanding the roles, responsibilities and expectations of the Emergency On-call System
