Supported Employment Specialist

Supported Employment Specialist role focused on helping individuals facing barriers to employment achieve community participation and long-term vocational stability. Responsibilities include coaching, education, and skill-building aligned with individualized career profiles and the IPS fidelity model; operating with a peer-informed, person-centered, trauma-informed approach; identifying career targets; assisting with applications, resumes, and interview preparation; providing rapid job search assistance; offering ongoing follow-along supports; developing relationships with employers; documenting outcomes and ensuring program fidelity; and maintaining compliance with state and organizational standards. The position requires an AA degree (or equivalent), two years of relevant behavioral health experience, and professional credentials (Agency Affiliated Counselor and/or Certified Peer Counselor) with driver’s license and ability to transport clients as needed.
