Job Summary
Supported Employment Specialist at Pioneer Human Services delivers coaching, education, and skill-building to help individuals with barriers to employment pursue individualized goals. Responsibilities include creating and updating career profiles, providing rapid job search strategies, resume and application assistance, interview preparation, and connecting participants to community supports. The role emphasizes IPS fidelity, trauma-informed and person-centered approaches, collaboration with employers, and documentation to ensure program fidelity. Requires an AA degree, 2 years of behavioral health experience, agency/counselor credentials, and a valid driver's license. Located in Seattle, WA; role is on-site. Required Qualifications
- AA degree in any related field (Human services, business administration, social work, public health, criminal justice, etc.)
- 2 years’ experience working with individuals who experience behavioral health challenges
- Must obtain and maintain an Agency Affiliated Counselor credential (Must apply within 7 days of employment)
- Possess or be able to pursue/obtain Certified Peer Counselor Credential through WA DOH within 30 days of employment
- Must have valid driver’s license and meet requirements of Company Approved Driver (insurance, driving record)
