Job Summary
Support Employment Specialist responsible for conducting assessments to determine skills and support needs, developing personalized employment plans, forging employer connections for inclusive job opportunities, providing training in job-search skills and interview preparation, advocating for accommodations, and monitoring placements to ensure retention and career advancement for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 20 years of age
- Complete State/Federal Criminal Background checks, Child Abuse Registry Information (CARI) checks, and Central Registry checks
- Associate’s degree or higher in a related field from an accredited college or university or have a high school diploma or equivalent with three (3) years of related experience
- Be familiar with the demands and expectations of business and industry
