Job Summary
The Supported Employment Professional will provide intensive support to individuals before and during employment, assisting them in entering competitive integrated jobs and maintaining stability in their work environment. Responsibilities include collaboration with employers, direct support to individuals in community living, and documentation of progress towards goals in accordance with Individual Service Plans (ISP). The role requires strong problem-solving skills, flexibility in schedule, and the ability to transport individuals as needed. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, with a high school diploma or equivalent, and hold a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Good driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Maintain a minimum of training hours as determined by the agency
- Complete the Association of Community Rehabilitation Educators (ACRE) Basic Employment Certificate
- Proficient with MS Office, including Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills
- Flexible schedule
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) professionally
- Problem-solver
- Self-motivated
- Dependable
- Ability to multi-task
- Regular attendance required
- Ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential information
- Strong attention to detail
