Job Summary
Coordinate employment support for clients with severe and persistent mental illness to help them find and maintain competitive employment in the community. Activities include job analysis, job matching, résumé preparation, and developing interview skills. Practice the principles and values of the evidence-based model of supported employment, with services primarily delivered in the community. Manage a caseload based on responsibilities, acuity, and agency need; document through IPS fidelity-based programs; develop employment plans and follow-along support plans; assist clients in accessing employment-related community resources and collaborating with SSA/VRD; maintain therapeutic client relationships; research job openings via employment agencies, help-wanted ads, and outreach; provide timely documentation meeting billing criteria; adhere to OAR standards; assess symptoms and implement crisis intervention when needed; transport clients between sites and drive as required; work with EHR; travel between sites; ensure compliance with background checks and driving requirements; participate in outreach to employers and community resources.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s (BA/BS) degree in a human services field OR three years of experience providing services in a similar setting with individuals who have emotional and/or mental and/or developmental disabilities, OR a combination of education and experience that provides the desired skills, knowledge, and abilities required to perform the job.
- Must be a QMHA on the Mental Health & Addictions Certification Board of Oregon (MHACBO) registry.

- Candidate must be able to use e-mail, compose documents, save and locate documents electronically, and learn to use our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Proficiency in Word and other MS Office applications preferred.
- Must pass state-required background and DMV checks; possess a valid OR driver's license and a satisfactory driving record to be approved for driving rights.
- Candidates must be able to work independently and flexibly, under general supervision.
