Job Summary
Assist individuals with disabilities in building job skills, crafting resumes, and preparing for interviews to foster independence. Provide transportation and support during community activities, coaching on workplace behaviors and offering hands-on site support. Collaborate with employers to identify opportunities and ensure accommodations while monitoring progress and documenting services for compliance. Maintain clearances including State Police, Child Abuse, and FBI checks; hold a valid driver's license and own a vehicle. Work varied hours including evenings and weekends based on client needs.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid, active driver's license
- State Police Criminal Record Check
- Child Abuse Clearance
- FBI Clearance (if you have not lived in PA for the past 2 years)
- Ability to pass ACRE and CPR/First Aid Certification
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with individuals, families, and employers
- A desire to be active in the community and build partnerships with local businesses
- Patience, empathy, and motivation to support individuals in overcoming challenges
- Skills to coach individuals through resume building, interview prep, and job success
