Job Summary
Conduct individualized job searches and build professional networks by completing six in-person employer contacts weekly to secure competitive, community-based employment for clients with mental health challenges. Manage caseloads by developing personalized career profiles, facilitating mental health disclosure discussions, and providing safe transportation to homes, schools, and businesses. Deliver continuous support through pre- and post-placement visits, monitor job retention, and execute re-engagement strategies for disengaged individuals. Navigate benefits counseling, FAFSA completion, and academic accommodations while collaborating with mental health teams and state vocational counselors. Maintain rigorous compliance by capturing documentation for Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) milestones and consistently meeting monthly revenue targets through fee-for-service billing.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human services, customer service, sales, or workforce development
- Valid driver's license
- Active auto insurance
- A reliable personal vehicle
- A clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Additional years of experience in serious mental illness, vocational rehabilitation, or employment coaching
