Job Summary
Conduct Individual Placement and Support (IPS) services by helping individuals with mental health challenges obtain and maintain competitive, community-based employment and education aligned with their strengths. Spend approximately 65% of time in the field engaging job seekers, employers, academic institutions, families, and service partners while managing a dedicated caseload and driving program outcomes through Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities (OOD) billing mechanisms. Build trusting relationships in community settings, assess vocational skills, develop individualized career profiles, and provide safe transportation for clients. Complete at least six in-person employer contacts weekly, negotiate accommodations, and support job retention through proactive outreach and continuous monitoring. Assist clients with benefits counseling, FAFSA completion, and academic accommodations, while integrating services into weekly mental health team meetings and maintaining all electronic health records and billing documentation within agency-mandated timelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in human services, customer service, sales, or workforce development
- Valid driver's license
