Job Summary
Lead a team of support workers to deliver quality social and vocational services, ensuring individual support plans align with regulatory standards and company policy. Manage daily operations including staff rotação, recruitment, induction, and supervision, while maintaining high standards of care and professional conduct. Coordinate medication management, resource allocation, and compliance with quality audits and health and safety duties. Liaise with external stakeholders, local authorities, and families to facilitate holistic rehabilitation outcomes. Monitor location spending, manage staff discipline and attendance, and contribute to training facilitation and incident reporting.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ / QCF level 3 HSC
- willingness to work towards NVQ / QCF level 3 HSC within 12 months
- Previous experience of working in a care setting
- Knowledge of current relevant legislation relating to care standards, health and safety and food hygiene
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically word, excel, outlook and internet use
- Demonstrate ability to be flexible and adaptable in approach, being able to prioritise, plan and organise the work load
- Demonstrating a customer focused approach and a professional attitude
- IT skills including the ability to open and send emails using Outlook, the ability to use Microsoft office and the ability to navigate the internet
- Must be able to undertake any reasonable traveling requirements in order to fulfil the tasks and responsibilities of the role
- Must be available for weekend working
