Job Summary
Deliver high-quality personal care and support, including showering, grooming, toileting, medication assistance, meal preparation, and domestic tasks while travelling between clients' homes. Follow a predetermined schedule using a mobile app to access digital care plans independently. Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits. Work independently in a community setting, providing social support and promoting client independence. Permanent part-time role (39 hours per fortnight) with a schedule mainly Monday, Wednesday, and Friday between 8:00am and 3:00pm. Applicants must live in Bouvard, Dawesville, Falcon, Halls Head, Hamel, Herron, Lake Clifton, Preston Beach, Wannanup, or Waroona.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Individual Support, HACC, Disability
- 3 months relevant care worker experience
- 6+ months relevant care worker experience (FTE)
- Experience working in a home care/community setting
- A valid Drivers' License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition
- Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan, via a mobile app
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills
- Applicants must live in Bouvard, Dawesville, Falcon, Halls Head, Hamel, Herron, Lake Clifton, Preston Beach, Wannanup and Waroona
- Must be available for permanent part-time roles (39 hours per fortnight), mainly needed Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 8:00am and 3:00pm
