Job Summary

Support individuals on a person-centered basis to live more independently and work toward moving into independent accommodation. Provide daily assistance with medication, community access, cleaning, cooking, and other domestic tasks. Work across six supported housing services in the Blackpool, Fylde, and Wyre area on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends from 7am to 7pm. This role requires patience, a sense of humor, and the ability to think on your feet while building strong relationships with residents and colleagues. No prior industry experience or specific qualifications are required; on-the-job training and opportunities for professional qualifications in Health and Social Care are provided.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be legally entitled to live and work within the United Kingdom
  • Must be able to work on a rota basis
  • Must be available for evenings and weekend shifts
  • Must be able to work shifts from 7am to 7pm
  • Must be able to work across six supported housing services
  • Must be able to support people with medication
  • Must be able to access the community
  • Must be able to perform cleaning
  • Must be able to cook
  • Must be able to perform other domestic tasks
  • Must be able to think on their feet
  • Must be able to understand the needs of the people who draw on our support
  • Must bring a positive attitude to every shift
  • Must have patience

  • Ability to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role
  • Qualifications in level 2-6 in Health and Social Care
