Job Summary
Support three men aged 40 to 60 with intellectual disabilities by assisting with daily routines, personal care, cooking, medication administration, and household tasks while fostering independence. Encourage personal growth and problem-solving skills, adapting to individual interests such as puzzles, knitting, or rugby to create rich, diverse experiences. Maintain boundaries and offer space as needed, ensuring safety and dignity during activities like grocery shopping or shared community outings. Work flexible rosters including overnight shifts and sleepovers, with hands-on hours totaling 36.5 per fortnight. Uphold Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and collaborate within a supportive team environment.
