Support Worker (Part-Time Casual)

Job Summary
Assist individuals in daily activities, ensuring active engagement while supporting feeding, hygiene, toileting, and transitions. Set up enabling environments for session plans and prepare resources as needed. Follow tutors and therapists' recommendations based on SMART goals and behavior support plans, including risk assessments and sensory profiles. Liaise with team members to provide feedback on performance and observations. Research creative session delivery methods and assist in delivering small group activities according to the curriculum. Maintain continuous professional development through self-initiative and training. Work in the afternoons with a recognized MQF Level 3 qualification in health and social care, adhering to Protection of Minors Act and immunization requirements.
Required Qualifications
- A recognized 'Qualification' at MQF Level 3 or higher (minimum of 60 ECTS/ECVET) in health and social care or relevant
- Previous experience within disability field
- Available to work in the afternoons
- High proficiency in English language (both spoken and written)
- satisfy the requirements of the Protection of Minors Act (POMA)
