Job Summary
Support Worker role in Llanelli area, providing emotional and practical care to adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs in a residential setting. Full training is provided; a QCF Level 2 qualification is available for eligible candidates. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality, person-centred care; assisting with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and shopping; promoting independence, dignity, and well-being through meaningful activities; working autonomously while ensuring safety and respect; adhering to Social Care Wales and Care Inspectorate Wales standards; and working on a flexible rota including early mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends. Requirements include a genuine passion for care, must be aged 18 or over, and the ability to drive is essential for this post. Full-time contracts from 37.5 to 45 hours per week with benefits and progression opportunities.
