Job Summary
Provide hands-on support across daily living activities, following individual support plans and risk assessments. Assist with cooking, shopping, medication administration, personal care, and helping people access local community facilities and activities. Attend to finances, maintain accurate records, participate in handovers, and escalate safeguarding concerns. Be a positive role model, uphold dignity and respect, and be flexible to support across weekends and evenings. May drive a mobility car if qualified, and support people to pursue goals and maintain independence. Requires PBS knowledge and a UK manual driving licence (drivers and non-drivers both considered).
Required Qualifications
- UK manual driver’s licence
- driving ability for mobility car (preferred)
- knowledge of PBS (positive behavioral support)
- experience in health and social care environment preferred
- ability to support daily living including personal care
- medication administration support
- ability to work alternating weekends and night shifts
