Support Worker (Days)

Care-focused Support Worker role responsible for delivering person-centred care to service users at Oxley Woodhouse, Huddersfield. Responsibilities include providing enhanced care with a flexible learning approach, offering guidance and emotional support, assisting with medical and welfare needs, safeguarding, maintaining a safe and clean environment, and enabling access to community activities; encouraging independence and participation in everyday tasks such as cooking and cleaning. Successful candidates will be part of a days-only, full-time rota (~42 hours/week) with alternate weekends, and may benefit from apprenticeship schemes and wellbeing perks. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to create a trusting, stimulating environment and to help service users grow and develop. DBS check is required.
