Job Summary
Support Worker for SIL houses and community access shifts across Brisbane's Bayside (Victoria Point, Birkdale, Thornlands, Tingalpa, Capalaba). Provide high-quality care according to care plans, assist with activities of daily living, medication administration, and meal preparation; ensure safety and well-being; implement behavior management strategies for behaviors of concern; engage participants in meaningful activities to promote independence; maintain accurate documentation; collaborate with healthcare professionals. Roles include 1:1 or 1:2 support across 24/7 rosters. Requires compassionate and reliable team participate with strong communication skills and ability to handle challenging situations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
