Job Summary
Provide home and community-based support to a woman in her 40s in Pasadena, focusing on independence, community participation, and meaningful everyday activities. Responsibilities include personal care and daily living tasks, medication assistance and monitoring, supporting participation in community activities, promoting independence and confidence, delivering behavior support with a calm and proactive approach, establishing and maintaining professional, respectful relationships, and collaborating with family members and allied professionals. Ideal candidates are calm, patient, emotionally resilient, warm and engaging, able to maintain clear boundaries, build rapport gradually, respond to complex behaviors calmly, and adapt approaches to support community participation and social connection. Preferred experience includes supporting people with mental health conditions, autism, and/or intellectual disability, understanding person-centered practice, and handling behaviors of concern. Requirements include a current driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, NDIS Worker Screening Check, current First Aid Certificate, and Medication Training, with support requiring at least one night sleep-over per week.
