Job Summary
Administrative Support Technician role supporting district administrators in planning, coordinating, monitoring, and facilitating administrative actions and processes. Responsibilities include researching and compiling data, preparing reports and correspondence, organizing and tracking legislation/case records, recommending and implementing administrative practices, interpreting laws/regulations/policies, maintaining records, attending meetings, and performing other duties as assigned. Must demonstrate strong word processing, spreadsheet, database, diagramming, and presentation software skills, plus excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication, data research, analysis, and problem-solving abilities. Six-month probation described in the posting.
Required Qualifications
- Four (4) year combination of education, training, and experience in administrative work or related area
- Licensing: A valid Florida Driver’s License may be required prior to appointment and must be maintained during employment in this class.
