Job Summary
Tier 1 Support Technician at WheelHouse IT (remote, contract-to-hire) providing first-point technical support for MSP clients across the US. Responsibilities include remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals; troubleshooting Microsoft 365, Windows OS, Active Directory, and networking; supporting LAN/WAN connectivity; documenting work in PSA systems; escalating complex issues; onboarding, deployments, and technical projects; supporting cloud-hosted and customer-managed environments; delivering professional, responsive, customer-focused service.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience required
- Minimum 1 year of technical support experience
- Experience supporting: Microsoft 365
- Windows desktop operating systems
- Active Directory
- Network connectivity and troubleshooting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace for remote work
