Job Summary
Operate and set up chain cutting and Clevis Assembly stations, perform minor maintenance on machinery, cut and build assembly samples for customer orders, and assemble products using various hand tools. Pack chain and parts by weight utilizing scales. Read and interpret safety rules and operating/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals; write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups of customers or employees; perform basic arithmetic across units of measure; apply common-sense understanding to instructions and solve problems with several concrete variables. Maintain awareness of noise level and wear hearing protection as required; physical duties include standing, occasional walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to lift/lower/push/pull up to 40 lbs. safely.
