Job Summary

Manage client technology needs by analyzing information, identifying problems, and proposing solutions for their IT infrastructure. Ensure computer and network operations are monitored, with scheduled backup/recovery functions and consistent administration of hardware, operating systems, and applications. Support active directory, email systems, virtualization, and remote management software while identifying and correcting LAN and WAN issues. Field customer questions, maintain customer information, and perform data entry management. Monitor PCI compliance and ensure data integrity for business operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Thorough working knowledge of server and network troubleshooting
  • Skilled communicator on all levels
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate regularly with clients and their teams to understand technology needs and concerns
  • Ability to analyze information, identify current and potential problems, and propose solutions
  • Ability to ensure computer and network operations are monitored, backup/recovery functions are performed on a scheduled basis, and administration functions for hardware, operating and application systems are maintained and completed on a consistent basis
  • Ability to implement the daily operation, support, integrity, and security of technology and data (including PCI compliance)
  • Support active directory (creating and modifying GPO's and scripts), email systems (i.e. Office 365), virtualization, monitoring and remote management software
  • Identify and correct all LAN and WAN issues
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service
  • Knowledge of computers, servers, and networks including firewalls, network diagnostics, VLAN configuration, IP issues, VMWare
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Products (Windows Server 2012 -present, Windows 10, Azure, SharePoint, Office 365, Etc...)
  • Knowledge of VMWare
  • Knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, HP, and Lenovo (servers, switches, WAP's, workstations, security appliances, etc.)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel
  • Availability for rotating on call schedules during holidays
  • Availability for weekend shifts
  • Ability to work in Monroe, CT
  • Ability to work hybrid (4 days in office, 1 day remote)
  • Business casual dress code
  • 3 professional references with at least one being someone who directly managed you

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Hospitality driven applications (POS, PMS, Keys, Sales & Marketing Systems, etc.)
  • Advanced understanding of DHCP, DNS, and IP protocols
