Job Summary
Graveyard shift Support Staff in a 31-bed residential treatment facility for women and children in South Los Angeles. Responsibilities include awake, night-shift supervision, client intake support, urinalysis testing, medication access, meal prep and service, environmental checks, shift reporting, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires collaboration with the treatment team, adherence to boundaries and professionalism, and participation in mandatory trainings. Must hold a high school diploma or GED, have knowledge of substance abuse treatment, de-escalation skills, and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Strong communication, documentation, and computer skills are required; vaccination is encouraged. The role emphasizes supportive care, safety, and program adherence within a 24-hour residential setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Three years of sobriety if in recovery
- Computer skills (e-mail and Microsoft Programs)
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Good documentation skills
- Ability to work within a team structure
- Knowledge of the alcohol and substance abuse field
- Knowledge of de-escalation skills
