Job Summary
Supervise residents in daily activities, provide mental health and crisis support, and conduct wellness checks while monitoring program sites during overnight hours. Facilitate crisis intervention, liaise with staff, and complete required documentation including medication administration, communication logs, and incident reports. Perform light housekeeping chores, lead team briefings, and support planned or unplanned resident discharges. Work afternoons from 1pm to 11pm on a rotational basis, including every second weekend and statutory holidays. This role supports the Agency's 24-7 Stonehenge locations, offering an opportunity to learn about varied approaches to substance use recovery and build skills across Residential, PSH, and Crisis Stabilization programs.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a College Diploma or University Degree relevant to mental health, addiction, or Social Services
- Minimum six months of progressive experience in addictions or mental health
- Valid G Driver's License and reliable / personal vehicle
- 3 yrs of driving experience at a G or G2 level
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record
- CSC Clearance conducted by PWGS Canada
- Standard First Aid/CPR Level
- Afternoons 1pm-11pm
- working every second weekend
- Some work required on statutory holidays
Desired Qualifications
- experience in concurrent disorders or trauma informed practice
- Previous experience in residential treatment
- Previous experience with justice-involved individuals
- Food Handlers Certification
- Lived experience related to addictions and/or mental health
- Previous experience in correctional field
