Job Summary
Provide overall support to House Managers and clients while overseeing the housing environment and reporting environmental needs. Assist with client transportation to appointments, meetings, and recreational activities, ensuring vehicle safety and defensive driving protocols are followed. Monitor client adherence to chore and meal schedules, observe daily behavior to issue infractions, and summarize activities in shift reports. Perform basic housekeeping duties including cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and utility areas, while collecting drug screens and conducting perimeter checks every thirty minutes. Document clinical and administrative work, perform vital signs monitoring, and facilitate group sessions at home.
Required Qualifications
- Attainment of at least 21 years of age
- Drivers Licenses
- Current CPR/ First Aid certification
- Must maintain self-control in volatile or hostile situations
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision in an unstructured environment with multiple demands
- Must possess a reading and writing level that provides for clear expression and/or understanding of assignments related to job description
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high volumes of stress
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal to high volumes of stress
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma and or GED
- One (1) year of experience in behavioral health care
- Should be experienced as Support Staff or Mental Health Technician
- Basic knowledge of PC software programs, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel
- Written and oral communication skills
- Ability to represent the program well in interactions both inside and outside the facility
- Knowledge of industry standards as related to the position of Lead Support Staff
